NYT Writer Calls Cruz's Charlottesville Condemnation Political 'Posturing'

Biased journalist hacks really show their true colors when they demand one thing and then, when they get it, come up with the “yeah, but…” excuse.

That seems to be the case for New York Times investigative reporter Eric Lipton.

Lipton, along with many other liberal pundits/journalists have been calling for anyone that isn’t liberal to condemn the actions of the white supremacists who were a part of the unrest this past weekend in Charlottesville, Va.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wrote in a Facebook post his feelings regarding the chaos over the weekend in Charlottesville.

Here is Cruz’s statement on Charlottesville:

I think we could all agree that the statements made by Cruz was pretty clearly a condemnation of “Nazis, the KKK, and white supremacists.”

Apparently, Lipton thinks that Cruz’s statement is nothing more than political “posturing” so that Cruz looks good for the 2020 election.

Here’s Lipton’s tweet:

Don’t worry, Mr. Lipton. You’re not being cynical at all. Your hypocrisy reveals your clear bias and love for anything left of center, as if that were ever a secret.

Don’t get me wrong. Lipton is more than entitled to his opinion, and he’s more than entitled to believe what he believes. But, Lipton shouldn’t expect people to view him as a reputable investigative journalist when he puts forth a clear bias for all to see.

Not to be outdone, Cruz responded with two tweets that were most likely meant to put Lipton in his place, even using the “shameful history” of the New York Times against them.

Here are the tweets:

Twitter users, some who aren’t even fans of Cruz, have come to the senator’s defense, going so far as to call out Lipton's transparent bias.

Writers like Lipton will never change their ways as long as they keep receiving checks from news organizations that espouse this level of hypocritical bias.
